Mandy qualified in 2005 in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and two years later she gained her A1 assessor status. She enjoys training veterinary nurse students and nursing small mammals, especially guinea pigs and rats.
Mandy moved to Norfolk and joined Summerhill Vets in 2020. She grew up surrounded by family Shetland Sheepdogs. At home she has a Labrador Cross, a chihuahua and two guinea pigs.
